You’ll learn everything you every wanted to know about the safe and correct use of tools, best practices, what all the buttons do on power-tools and even how to hold them and change accessories quickly and easily – so you can work efficiently with confidence.
I’ll also cover how to match certain fixings, tools, and materials to each other, not to mention where you can find the tools, equipment and materials I use. I have a great deal planned for you my friend; this is only the beginning!!
This course will be an online glossary of every tool, and every process I know. With quizzes and tonnes of hands-on projects you can complete to further your skills, practice, and solidify your knowledge, until it becomes second nature.
I’ll also be visited by other fantastic makers across a whole spectrum of arts, to cover areas I have less experience of. So you get the best possible advice from the most experienced artisan talent in the industry.

Professional Artist, Designer, Fabricator specialising in the reuse of salvaged materials. Over a decade of experience in the field of woodwork, metalwork, DIY, upcycling, and creative reuse. I have worked with all kinds of materials from textiles, plastics, rubber, metals and glass. I love to create beautiful and useful things from the items others discard.
With a wealth of knowledge I have several tricks and tips – and if I’m honest, I learned how not to do it the hard way!! I wish someone had taken the time to show me the basics crucial for clean, precise, professional work. I’m a firm believer that if you can master the basics of precise measuring, squaring, cutting, drilling, reconfiguring and fixing then you can make anything! I’m kinda proof of it!
