If you are unsure of working with mains electricity you can follow the steps for wiring your lamp-holder and find a qualified electrician to wire your light into the mains, it is worth changing them all at once if you do this to make it economically viable to hire an electrician. Everything is explained in full in the instructions, which wires come from your ceiling, what the markings & colours on wires & fittings mean, & several examples of different wiring set ups that you may have in your property. I do not advice fitting this kit yourself if you have sight or mobility issues, the reason for this is you will need to be able to safely climb a step ladder and stand on it whilst you wire in the mains end of the rose. • I designed this heavy duty steel pallet breaker to break any pallet, no matter the width of the slats or how big and tough it is! It is strong, robust and guaranteed to break pallets in minutes. I have used many methods in the past to deconstruct pallets, from using two small pry bars to a reciprocating saw, this is by far the most time efficient, economic and effective method to take pallets apart without splitting the wood or breaking your back! You can deconstruct a pallet in a minute, as opposed to half a day & it is far more economical in price than buying a reciprocating saw. My pallet buster is made of steel, the parts are precisely made and TIG welded together. It is 1190mm long - designed to give you enough leverage to easily pull up slats without breaking a sweat or having to bend to do it. The forks are spaced 150mm apart to accommodate even the largest pallet slat and support a wide area to prevent splitting. The handle is made from box section which sits nicely in the palm of the hand and means you can work comfortably. Technical specification  Made for deconstructing pallets, could also come in handy for other demolition projects such as removing floor boards or prying one surfaced from another. Dimensions  Entire length  - 1190mm Fork width - 210mm space between forks - 150mm width of handle 150mm This Pallet puller has been made under 1200mm to be able to post this item at a reasonable price. This length is perfect for an average height person, if you are quite tall (over 6ft) you may require a slightly longer handle - in which case please contact me for costs. Weight  Approx 3 kg ETA  All of my hand made products are made in batches, this means that I may have some ready to post, or I may be in the process of sourcing more steel to fabricate another batch of pallet busters. Your bar will usually be with you in 10 days, although at busy periods the process may take longer - if in doubt contact me, I'll always do my best to help.   Shipping is calculated at checkout - discounts automatically calculated for multiple purchases. I ship to The USA, Australia, Spain, France, Germany, Ireland and British Highlands and Islands - if your location is not listed please contact me and I will add it for you. Postage of this item to mainland UK is £6.98 for the standard size listed. For a longer handle the shipping cost is £30 - pick up is available on request. Delivery/collection in person can be arranged in Brighton +5 miles area at no extra cost - choose this option at checkout.

  • The lamp has a gold interior to reflect the ambient glow of the low energy vintage style LED blub which comes free with this purchase. The exterior finish is hammered black with gold specks which gives it the appearance of metal. The light fitting and other fixtures are high quality CE approved components. When you purchase a cricket helmet lamp The Salvage Sister gets to work finding one to reclaim and repurpose for you. Then all the interior padding and fixings are removed before it is sanded, spray painted and lacquered for resilience. This process can take some time due to the drying times of the paint. Once the paint job is complete the cage is put back on and the lamp fitting and wiring is completed ready for packaging and shipping to your door. The Salvage Sister stays in touch throughout this process to let you know the progress of your order.
