Spent a great afternoon with Charis Williams aka The Salvage Sister making an awesome lamp. Could not wire a plug to save my life before hand now she’s helped me wire a plug, a switch and a light! And I didn’t blow anything up!!!
Id definitely recommend a stop at her workshops as she made everyone feel so at ease. We had great laughs and came away with awesome lamps.
    Thank you Charis.

A Saturday well spent on a really fantastic ‘make a lamp’ workshop with Charis -AKA The Salvage Sister. Great fun to see people bringing their ideas to life with her help and advice – you really can make anything into a lamp (see my vintage petrol can lamp below). Charis was so patient and helpful with everyone, making sure we all came away with a working lamp. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thanks Charis!

This class was so much fun, and I finished my lamp! I’ve been to other providers of workshops and didn’t get to finish anything, Charis made sure everyone had a working lamp by the end & we learned so much! I feel I can do this on my own next time now. Thank you! 🙂

Charis really knows her stuff and is calm, professional and funny. I came away with a fabulous lamp but more particularly, the skills to make more. You can buy the kit from the WoodStore which has everything in it to make one at home. It was a great day with lots of giggles
