£65.00 3 hours

Learn how to make your own lamp in Brighton and get enlightened with the Salvage Sister!
The Salvage Sister has made many lamps throughout her career, many of them made in front of a camera for television shows like ‘Fill Your House for Free’ on channel 4 and ‘The New Reclaimers’ on UKTV.

Now The Salvage Sister will teach you how to make your own lamp out of just about anything in this live workshop class at Brighton Woodstore in the heart of this vibrant City!

During this 3 hour workshop you will learn the skills needed to create your very own electric lamp, and you will take what you make home on the day!

You will learn how to prepare and wire a lamp safely, you have a choice of which lamp to make – you can bring something with you that you would like to make into a lamp, or make a lamp using some wood or a jam jar which will be available on the day. You can contact The Salvage Sister to discuss this if you are unsure which options you prefer.

All the lamp fittings you need to create your lamp will be provided on the day, including a low energy filament bulb. The course price is for you to create one lamp or jam jar light, if you wish to make more than one you can purchase an extra lamp pack and jam jar on the day.
