Description
Heavy duty steel shelf brackets made from salvaged motorbike brake disks & sprockets – a must for industrial styling & scaffold board shelving
Inspiration
The aim for this piece was ‘totally badass industrial’ style that would be at home in any man… or woman-cave!
I ride a 600cc Honda Hornet, I love tough industrial style and auto parts, I made these shelf brackets for myself and I think every hardcore biker should have a shelf held up with these awesome brackets.

Technical specification
Heavy duty brackets made to hold scaffold boards and heavy loads.
They come with industrial style stainless steel dome head screws and raw plugs – just mark out your holes, drill and for them – no hassle.
Base material – Bright steel, mild steel or stainless steel – choose from the drop down menu
Salvaged material – motorcycle brake disk, or sprocket – choose from the drop down menu
Finish – brushed steel
Lacquered to prevent staining & rust.

The salvaged parts used are real sprockets & brake disks from motorbikes that have reached the end of their life, some have indentations & patina which add to their unique character. There is a great variety, and I usually don’t get many that are the same. When you order a specific type I will send you what I have available of that type of disk/sprocket & mounting material.
Sometimes ‘Brake disk inner & outer rim’ have a colour on the inner rim – please check the images, if you don’t want black, gold/yellow or red inners please let me know. (This may mean a wait for your order if I do not have the correct colour in stock.)

- sprockets – these are the circular with points to pull the chain, size dependant on the bike they come off. More readily available than break disks (No Extra charge)
- Brake disk – singles; these are brake disks with the outer rim only, no inner ring – more readily available than the double variety (No extra charge)
- Brake Disk – Double; Inner and outer disk, inner disk is usually aluminium and can be black, silver or less often red, gold etc. (£20 extra charge)

Choose your base material – Mild steel, Bright mild steel, or stainless steel in the drop down menu.
Would you like something rustic with an aged patina? Choose mild steel! (It’s also a lot cheaper than bright or mild steel.)
Or are you looking for something sleek and shiny for the kitchen? Choose stainless steel! (It has great corrosion resistance & is fantastic in moisture prone areas – it won’t rust.)
Or maybe you want shiny for the lounge or bedroom? Why not choose bright steel – it has less corrosion resistance (should be fine unless you live in a swamp, or have damp problems) it’s cheaper than stainless, but still looks the bomb!!
(All my motorbike salvage shelf brackets are lacquered to seal them & protect from the elements, however mild & bright mild steel should only be used in dry interior applications unless it is powder coated or galvanised.)

Some salvage parts are far harder to come by than others, I rate their value by their rarity – for this reason some styles are more expensive than others.
If you’re on a budget, why not try my sprocket, or single disk styles on mild steel.
