The Build
You will learn the quickest, easiest way to take pallets apart & make one piece of furniture during the class.
You’ll learn how to use the tools involved in deconstruction, and which fittings and tools are vital for creating a long lasting beautiful piece of furniture from free scrap pallet wood – meaning you can replicate this over and over again and save yourself a great deal of cash and time.
At the end you take the amazing piece YOU made home!
All tools, materials, PPE and equipment are provided – however you are more than welcome to bring your own drill/hammer/PPE etc.
*NO SHEDS, NO WHEELIE BIN STORAGE, NO BIKE SHEDS. FURNITURE ONLY!!*
(These items are not suitable – they WILL NOT be finished, they use 3x the materials & take resources from the other students. This workshop is to learn how to make one simple piece of furniture in a day, please use the skills you learn to make something larger in your own time. This workshop is great. Suitable for absolute beginners to people like myself with a little bit of (very) amateur woodwork experience. Tips are a plenty. And the use of a workshop full of power tools – what’s not to love! (Supervised, of course!) Charis is great. Really knowledgeable, personable, and funny! I loved this workshop and would recommend it to anyone.
