Learn the skills needed to deconstruct pallets before making your own pallet furniture!
The Salvage Sister loves free pallet wood, you can you save yourself loads of cash and do your bit for the planet at the same time when you use unwanted materials like pallets.
We will be making items like small benches and tables from pallets – this is not a fine furniture making class, there will be no dove tail joins or the like. This class is dedicated to using pallet material and their structures to create furniture to use in the home or garden. You will learn how to dismantle, cut and fix pallets together while creating your own piece to take home & be proud of!

If you have time once you’ve built your furniture you have the option to customise it with paints too. Once you’ve learnt these skills you will be able to repeat this process at home to make as many pieces of furniture as you like in the future – saving lots of cash and stress.

All classes must finish at 5pm because this is when the Woodstore closes – in the unlikely event that you do not finish your item you will have the skills to continue at home, we regret that we cannot keep the workshop open any later than 5pm. We cannot store items you have made in the workshop either as there is no storage space for this so you must take your furniture home at the end of the day.
