Wooden art class – make a simple wooden artwork & customise

£69.00 4 hours

Enjoy a woodwork art class where you’ll learn how to make a simple two layer artwork using sheet material, pallet wood, paint and the creative skills you will gain during this fun workshop.

The Salvage Sister has a great deal of experience creating all kinds of beautiful and useful things from scrap materials.  Including building in front of a live audience at events like The Ideal Home show, and Kirstie’s Handmade Fair and various television shows on BBC and Channel 4.

She has learnt all the tricks of the trade and now she’s opening up this fun creative class to you!

You will learn how to make your very own pumpkin or similar cut-out artwork using a jigsaw, drill and other power tools listed below and customise it to your taste using paints.

You’ll go home with the creation you make and the skills to repeat it over and over again!

Please note; this is a small class with limited availability. Different classes will be added with an ever-changing repertoire of makes, so stay tuned & sign up to my mailing list so you don’t miss a thing!

Customisations
Choose to make any simple design, choose which colours you’d like to paint the backing &/or the pallet wood front. A simple design means nothing too intricate as you will find it too difficult to cut with a jigsaw and it will take too long. You can bring a print out of a design you like so we can choose something appropriate. If you are unsure what to create or have questions you can contact me here.

If you are a total newbie to woodworking and power tools why not try our ‘Power tools for Beginners‘ class first?
